Euston Trip

Join us for a walking tour of Euston Estate, the most significant central London regeneration opportunity so far this century.

In 1837, Euston opened as the first intercity railway station in London. Originally, it had just two platforms. This station was rebuilt in the 1960s by British Rail as part of the electrification of the mainline. It has remained largely unchanged ever since.

In February 2017, HS2 was given approval to build a high-speed rail line linking London to Birmingham, with a new station at Euston as the terminus. This will be located alongside, and integrate with, potential redevelopment of the existing Network Rail station.

In March 2018, Lendlease was appointed as the long-term Master Development Partner to lead regeneration of the whole 59 acre Euston Estate. We will start on site in 2026 (subject to business plan approvals and outline planning consent) and seek to create up to 400,000 sqm of commercial space including office, hotel, retail and cultural uses and c.1,800 homes, completing this work around 2040.

To register for this event, please email Vanessa Pilla at vanessa.pilla@lendlease.com. Details including meeting location will be emailed to you once you have registered.
